When you use Text2Task, we may collect the information you provide directly, including your email address, account details, submitted text, uploaded screenshots or images, extracted tasks, client names, deadlines, budgets, task notes, and other information you choose to save in your workspace.

We also collect basic technical information such as browser type, device information, IP-related metadata, pages visited, referral source, campaign parameters, approximate country or region, usage events, page views, timestamps, authentication activity, and subscription-related events needed to operate, secure, measure, and improve the service.

We use your information to provide the Text2Task service, process AI extraction requests, create structured task previews, save tasks to your workspace, maintain your account, process subscriptions, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.

We may also use aggregated or anonymized information to understand traffic, referrals, signup and product usage, improve onboarding, improve user experience, and make the product better.

Text2Task uses AI services to extract structured task information from the text or images you submit. This may include client names, task descriptions, budgets, deadlines, priority, contact details, and related work information.

You should not submit sensitive personal information, confidential third-party information, medical records, government IDs, payment card numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive data unless it is necessary and you have the right to use it.

Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Payment providers may collect billing details, transaction information, and payment method information according to their own policies.

We store subscription status information such as plan type, subscription status, payment provider identifiers, and related timestamps so we can unlock paid features for your account.

Text2Task uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, secure your session, remember authentication state, and operate the dashboard. Some cookies are necessary for the service to work.

Text2Task may use non-essential analytics to understand traffic, referral sources, signup and product usage, and product performance. Analytics may include pages visited, referral source, campaign parameters, approximate country or region, signup and product usage events, device and browser information, and timestamps.

Text2Task uses Google Analytics / Google tag. Text2Task also uses Microsoft Clarity for behavior analytics such as session recordings, heatmaps, clicks, scrolls, and usage patterns. These tools help us understand how people use the site and where the product can be clearer or more reliable.

Text2Task may use first-party cookies and localStorage for attribution and anonymous visitor identification. You can accept or reject non-essential analytics through the cookie banner or any available consent settings.

Internal analytics events are designed not to store raw client messages, uploaded screenshots, project content, task text, summaries, files, notes, resources, passwords, tokens, or private client data.

Google sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Google, Text2Task uses Google only to create and access your Text2Task account. We may receive basic account information such as your name and email address. Text2Task does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or your Google files.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including account-based access controls, database security rules, and secure service providers. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for using strong passwords where applicable.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate Text2Task, including hosting, database, authentication, AI processing, analytics, email, and payment services.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our terms.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, update, delete, or request a copy of your personal information. You can also choose not to provide certain information, but some features may not work without it.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Text2Task is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
